PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)

PRP

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma and is a preferred treatment by clients who prefer not have anything foreign injected into their bodies or who have already achieved what they want from dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle and wish to focus on creating more collagen and a firmer, stronger, fuller and tighter, brighter skin complexion.

Blood is made of four components: red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. Your blood is taken the same way it is taken when having a blood test and it is spun in a centrifuge which facilitates the separation of the blood cells from the plasma and platelets. This is then re-injected into the skin on the face, neck, décolletage, hands and even scalp for hair regrowth and to strengthen thinning hair to stimulate collagen and new skin cells. PRP utilises the patients own platelets and therefore there is no risk of allergy or rejection of the therapy.

  • How long will the treatment last?
Individual results may vary, depending on a number of factors such as; the patient’s metabolism, amount of exercise the patient undertakes, the dose, the placement, etc.
  • When should I have my next treatment?
At 4 weeks the patient feels and see's the full result of the treatment. Re-treatment should occur when the movement is between 50%-80% which is usually at the 3-4-month mark although some patients get retreated sooner than that as they look to be more frozen. Treating hyperhidrosis (excess sweating) is usually done, on average, once every 6 months.
  • How much does it cost?
Product 1: $3.50 per unit Product 2: $10 per unit OR Per area pricing: One area from $300 Two areas from $450 Three areas from $600

We are proud to offer the GOLD STANDARD in platelet rich plasma. PurePRP® by Emcyte is a renewal therapy and when compared with other PRP treatments. The exclusive separation system of Emcyte Pure PRP distributes improved cell extraction in comparison to earlier generation “test-tube” style PRP systems, including:

  • The highest recovery of platelets

  • The lowest levels of red blood cells

  • The highest levels of monocytes

  • Pure PRP® has an advantage over traditional PRP in that it requires a two-step

  • Concentration process which eliminates red blood cells (RBCs) and neutrophils

  • RBCs, which show no therapeutic effects for regeneration, may create a more

  • Viscous solution which can be more painful when injected. Neutrophils, a type of white blood cell, have inflammatory components which may increase pain and inflammation post-treatment

EmCyte achieves the purest samples of any PRP system with the lowest levels of red blood cells. EmCyte goes beyond first-generation PRP systems to provide the capability to deliver concentrations of up to 9 times baseline if required. The flexibility of the system allows the sample to be easily tailored to the concentration required for best treatment. EmCyte is able to harness and enhance the body’s healing mechanisms and stimulate your tissue regeneration to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, restore skin volume, improve skin clarity and even out skin tones to give you a refreshed appearance.
