PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)
PRP
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma and is a preferred treatment by clients who prefer not have anything foreign injected into their bodies or who have already achieved what they want from dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle and wish to focus on creating more collagen and a firmer, stronger, fuller and tighter, brighter skin complexion.

Blood is made of four components: red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. Your blood is taken the same way it is taken when having a blood test and it is spun in a centrifuge which facilitates the separation of the blood cells from the plasma and platelets. This is then re-injected into the skin on the face, neck, décolletage, hands and even scalp for hair regrowth and to strengthen thinning hair to stimulate collagen and new skin cells. PRP utilises the patients own platelets and therefore there is no risk of allergy or rejection of the therapy.

How long will the treatment last?Individual results may vary, depending on a number of factors such as; the patient’s metabolism, amount of exercise the patient undertakes, the dose, the placement, etc.
-
When should I have my next treatment? At 4 weeks the patient feels and see's the full result of the treatment. Re-treatment should occur when the movement is between 50%-80% which is usually at the 3-4-month mark although some patients get retreated sooner than that as they look to be more frozen. Treating hyperhidrosis (excess sweating) is usually done, on average, once every 6 months.
