PDO LIFTING THREADS

Create a rejuvenating, more youthful appearance with a non-surgical face thread lift. Not everyone wants to go under the knife for various reasons, a thread facelift is a less invasive procedure with less downtime that assists in achieving the revitalizing and refreshing effects of a facelift, without extensive surgery.

Threads are dissolvable sutures made from a complex sugar and has been designed to raise and lift the skin at deeper levels. This technique assists in elevate droopy areas of the face, soften lines around the mouth, and smooth ageing skin on the face. Dr. Ninos has extensive experience in using lifting threads and is the only practitioner in the clinic to provide this treatment. This treatment is the next step in regards to giving patients a satisfactory result not achievable by fillers. 

  • How long will the treatment last?
    Individual results may vary, depending on a number of factors such as; the patient’s metabolism, amount of exercise the patient undertakes, the dose, the placement, etc.
  • When should I have my next treatment?
    At 4 weeks the patient feels and see's the full result of the treatment. Re-treatment should occur when the movement is between 50%-80% which is usually at the 3-4-month mark although some patients get retreated sooner than that as they look to be more frozen. Treating hyperhidrosis (excess sweating) is usually done, on average, once every 6 months.
  • How much does it cost?

MONO THREADS

 

Mono threads are designed to perform a revitalisation skin treatment.  This procedure is advised for skin tightening, skin thickening and to improve skin texture thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles. These threads are not designed to lift the skin but treat the skin's overall texture and appearance. Mono threads can be used: Mid-face (Zygomatica), Accordion lines (Buccinator), eyebrows (Orbicularis Oculi), marionette lines (Depressor Anguli Oris), Nasolabial Folds, jawline (Manible), and the under-chin (Sub-Mental) region along with some parts of the body. Procedure time is short with results being most noticeable at 8 - 12 weeks.
